We seek to advance philanthropy and volunteer service to achieve positive social change for children who live in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. Using social venture capital thinking and approaches as a framework, Social Venture Partners Minnesota is committed to impact the educational potential of “at risk” kids. Our emphasis on educational potential includes: engagement with innovative service organizations to serve the following:

• Early childhood development (pre-school kids 0-5 years)
• Academic, creative, & business literacy (middle & charter school age)
• Continuing & advanced educational services (elementary and middle school)

Former investees include: Admission Possible, Lundstrum Center for the Performing Arts and Seeing Hands. All our investees have powerful stories to tell about improving the lives of kids and families challenged by poverty.
